CESA 2 houses the Professional Resource Center (PRC) in the Whitewater Innovation Center. The PRC is an instructional materials center for special and regular education teachers, parents, and administrators. This lending library provides resources, an online catalog, and consultative services in the areas of: alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; adaptive equipment, assessment; developmental stages; driver education; humanistic education (values, social skills, self-esteem, etc.); mathematics; parent education; professional books and curriculum; reading; science; social studies; software; special education; staff development; and vocational education.
The PRC’s collection contains various media types: professional and instructional books, tests, software, videos, and kits. There are 8663 items in the collection.
Resources are delivered and returns picked up once a week at the drop/pick-up site (determined by the district administrator).
CESA 2 staff are able to use the materials in the Professional Resource Center for their work. However, material cannot be checked out by a staff member for district staff to use if the district does not participate in the PRC.
Please remember to make your requests for items with enough lead time. It may take up to 48 hours for a request to be processed.
CESA 2 staff members must ensure that materials are returned to the PRC in the same condition in which they were received. CESA 2 staff members will be personally liable for the replacement of lost or damaged items.
CESA 2 staff members should use this form to request materials: PRC Check-out Form
