Job Opening

Have a position to fill? Complete the Vacancy Posting form.

Posting

Nicole will post the position in the areas noted on the form.

Determination

Determine which applicants will be interviewed and send those applicants the Employment Application.

Selection

Select a final candidate for the position.

Offer

Determine the final offer and make the offer to the candidate or have Nicole make the offer.

Board Approval

Nicole will add the hiring to the next Board of Control meeting agenda for approval.

Onboard

Help the employee adjust to life at CESA 2 and send an announcement about their hiring to staff.

Approval

If the jobs looks ready to post, Dan will sign the Vacancy Posting form.

Applicants

Applications will be sent to the supervisor to review.

Interviews

Hold interviews with at least one another staff member present. Second or third interviews can be held if needed.

Reference Check

Perform a reference check or have Nicole perform it.

Recommendation for Employment

Complete the Recommendation for Employment form for Dan's approval.

Orientation

Schedule a time for the new employee to meet with Nicole to complete paperwork and orientation.

Close

Nicole will close the job vacancy and remove any postings.

Vacancy Procedure

  1. Complete the Vacancy Posting Form. The Whitewater Office will receive the form and it will be reviewed by the Agency Administrator.
  2. Once you have received notification that the posting is approved, post the job on WECAN or request that it be posted if you do not have access to WECAN – the job can also be posted in newspapers, online job forums, and with universities as needed.
  3. Review applications and determine which candidates to interview.
  4. Interviews should be held with a minimum of two person interview teams.
  5. If necessary, hold a round of second interviews.
  6. Once a candidate has been selected, complete the Recommendation for Employment form. You will receive a notification if the candidate’s hiring has been approved or not.
  7. Schedule a time for the new employee to meet with the Executive Director of Operations to complete the necessary new hire paperwork.

  • Provide a brief outline of the job duties.
  • Provide a brief outline of the qualifications needed.
  • Provide a brief outline of the education and experience required for the position.
  • Provide a brief outline of the skills needed for the position.
  • Indicate how applicants should apply for the position.

    Indicate the date applications must be received by.
  • Indicate where you would like the position posted. For example: cesa2.org, Indeed, WECAN

Use this form when you have have a finalist you’d like to hire.
