If you do need assistance in having an item shipped from UPS, please follow the following procedure:
- Email Rachel inquiring if/when she might be able to assist you in sending out your materials.
- Each box should be properly packed and sealed for shipment with clear packing tape (this tape can be found in the work room cupboard).
- Boxes should be in good condition, with previous shipping labels removed.
- The intended address should be written on a sticky note, attached to the package.
- If boxes are going to multiple addresses, each box should be labeled with a sticky note containing the correct address.
- All addresses should include an “Attn to:” contact.
- Then the package needs to be brought to his office.
Please give him a 3 to 5 day notice for any shipments.
Additionally, if items being shipped out by Rachel are from orders that were delivered to CESA 2, it might be more fiscally responsible to have these items shipped directly from the vendor to the end recipient when the order is placed. We realize this is not always possible as items are sometimes shipped in bulk and need to be sorted out and packaged separately, but it is something to keep in mind when placing large orders for books, materials and swag.
